Good morning, I just have to show you this gorgeous Reindeer gift jar I received from Maree. He is so cute and Maree did a fantastic job of making him. So much work involved. I love his nose and how she glittered his antlers. Thanks so much Maree.
Here is the back view, she even glittered his tail. It was full of yummy Christmas Chocolates but I ate some before I tool the photo's. :)
Hi and Happy Sunday, I hope you had a fantastic Christmas Day yesterday, did you over indulge? :) Today's page is a Christmas theme. The photo's are of Alex when he was 2 1/2 at a dress up birthday party. He makes such a cute little Santa.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support and friendship over the last year. Thank you. And to wish you a wonderful 2011. I look forward to sharing more stamping projects with you next year, here on my blog and in workshops and classes. Ok here is the scrap page.
I will be pre scheduling the blog posts over the Holiday Season as we have a lots of family coming over for a huge family reunion. It's going to be so much fun. I don't think I'll get much computer time.

I have two cards to show you today, both Christmas cards of course.
When I saw the beautiful Crochet Trim in the Summer Mini Catalogue I remembered that I have a whole box of lace just sitting in the cupboard that my Mum gave me a long time ago. So why not use it.
The first card I hand stitched the lace to form a flower, finished it of with a button and some ribbon.. The stamp set is Season of Joy, the embossing folder is Vintage Wallpaper. A bit of sponging and spritzing with the new Smooch Spritz and added a few pearls. Colours are Garden Green, Soft Suede, Riding Hood Red and Very Vanilla.
The next card I used the lace as a decorative strip across the bottom of the card. This lace looks so old that it may have been my Grandmothers. Stamp set used is Dasher, the embossing folder is Vintage Wallpaper again. With more sponging and spritzing. Added pearls and ribbon. The colours are Riding Hood Red, Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.
I think this is about as close as I can get to vintage. :)
Hi, today's card, another Christmas Card, is quite dazzling, Using the Welcome Christmas set. I have inked the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers then stamped. After making sure the ink is dry I covered the whole piece with VersaMark then Heat & Stick powder and heated with a heat gun. While still hot I sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds and heated again to set. Very dazzling! The rest of the card is quite basic using the Joy stamp from the Perfect Punches set for the greeting. Did you notice, no ribbon! It's amazing for me not to use ribbon, but this card just didn't need any.

I've used the bird punch as a Christmas dove, I have lightly inked around him with Tea Stain Ink from the Distressing Essentials Kit. Also used the Welcome Christmas stamp set and the En Francais background stamp. The garden Green ink looks great on the Pear Pizazz card.

Hi, on Friday night I went to a Christmas Class at Julie's, it was really good to be the student for a change instead of the teacher. I had a really great time with the other ladies and Julie had prepared amazing projects for us to make.
First we made this gorgeous Christmas card. I went a bit crazy with the gold Smooch Spritz ( a new product in the Summer Mini)
Next we made these very cute pillow box gift boxes using the rock & roll technique.
Then we did a bit of heat embossing on this lovely Dasher card again I went a bit overboard with the silver Smooch Spritz. Doesn't the silver look fantastic on the Concord Crush card.
Julie gave us this lovely Christmas box with a stamp inside, (a Christmas present for us) made with the Fancy Favor Big Shot die. And then we got to make ourselves.
And that's not all, Julie also gave us this bag of punched out goodies with buttons & brads inside. She certainly spoilt us.
Thank you Julie for a fantastic night of stamping.
Oh no, something went wrong with my pre scheduling of my post yesterday. So it's one day late this week. I had a busy and fun day yesterday making Christmas craft with the kids in my family. I didn't realise the post didn't work until I received a text from Christine. Thanks Christine.
