Tree Trimmings.

I think the Tree Trimming stamp set is my most used set from the Spring Mini Catalogue. I love it so much. Here I've used it to make a Christmas tree decoration, inspired from GinnyGinny at Splitcoast Stampers. The center image is from the Baroque Motifs set. There is a lot of cutting out to make one of these but I think the end result is worth it.

This one I turned into a card using the Gold Brushed Metallic card (great for Christmas) and Riding Hood Red and heat embossing in gold. The greeting is from the Punches Three stamp set ( level 1 hostess). I've also used the eyelet boarder punch, scallop oval punch, gold brads and Riding Hood Red ribbon.
Here is the inside.

The colours for this card are Old Olive and Riding Hood Red with Ski Slope DSP.

Last Day.

Good morning, what a fantastic time we had at the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar on Saturday. Not only did I get to spend the day stamping with a wonderful group of ladies, but I also learnt a few new tricks and techniques which I can't wait to show you. It was also great to see some of my demonstrator friends and make some new friends.
.
Because today is the last day for the Spring Mini Catalogue I thought I better show you a few more cards using stamp sets from it. This card we made at Megan's workshop using the Tree Trimmings stamp set. The baja decoration was heat embossed with a mixture of clear embossing powder & dazzling diamonds. The olive decoration was stamped three times, cut out and folded in half adhering the side together to form a 3d decoration. And the red decoration was heat embossed with gold embossing powder onto red card. The greeting is from the Best Yest (level 1 hostess) stamp set. We also used the eyelet boarder punch, Ski Slope DSP ( Spring Mini), gold brads and the Stamp a ma jig.

No Challenge this month.

This month has got away from me, so there will not be a challenge this month. Sorry. :( But there will be one in December for sure. And yes you guessed it, it will be Christmasy. So check back for that early December.
.
If you need some idea's for Christmas gifts have a look at the Christmas Gift Giving Guide. There is something for everyone. And if you order $85 of products from the guide you will receive a Scallop Square Punch ($30.95 value) for FREE. How good is that! (Ends Dec 14th.)
.
There are only 13 days left to order from the Spring Mini Catalogue, so contact me with your order before those gorgeous stamps and accessories are gone.
.
Don't you just love the Parisian Breeze Specialty DSP! I've used it here to make this Pouch Gift Box, I love these too. We had fun making these at Megan's. The greeting is from the Say it with Scallops stamp set and I've used the Scallop Square punch, Round Tab punch and my new punch Heart to Heart. The 5/8" Jumbo brad in choc chip just finishes it off.

Never Ending Card.

Hi, here we are at the beginning of another week. Each week seems to go faster than the last.
Today I have the card Tereesa showed us how to make at the last Paper 4 Passion group meeting. I'm not sure what this card is called so I call it the Never Ending Card because you can keep folding it forever. This is really cool, my kids love it and had to make one of their own. And it is quite easy to make, once you know how.
We used the A Rose is a Rose stamp set with Organic Grace and Sweet Little Sentiments (both level 1 hostess sets). We inked the edgers and added dazzling diamonds. I gave this one to my Mum for her birthday, she loved it.

Thank you Teressa for showing us how to make this card, it was lots of fun.

Happy Boo day!

I know we don't really celebrate Halloween here in Australia, but my niece's had a Halloween party for their birthday, so I had to make them a spooky card. The ghosts are made from oval punches with the bottom punched off with the scallop edge punch, then covered with heat & stick powder and dazzling diamonds.

The pumpkin is made from circle punches and one oval punch, the leaf is punched with the five petal flower punch then crimped. I've added chunky glitter to the word "boo".

The colours are Basic black, pumpkin pie, old olive, elegant eggplant and whisper white.
The stamp sets are
Ghost: Happy Everything, Defining Alphabet and Circle Circus.
Pumpkin: Jumbo Outline alphabet, Happy Everything and Lots of Dots Wheel (retired).
