I am grateful for...

Good morning everyone, all the kids are now  settled in their new classes and I've caught up with things around the house so now I have some time for blogging again.

So today I have a gratitude book/journal  I made to show you. I started with a 5x5 On Board Journal inked the edgers with early Espresso ink then covered with the beautiful new DSP Everyday Enchantment (one of the sale.a.bration products). Then I embellished the cover to make it look pretty. I've used the bird Builder punch, 2 1/2" circle punch, both Tag punches, Scallop Circle #2 Big shot die, Fun Flowers die, Beautiful Wings Embosslits die, Ribbon & brad from Everyday Enchantment Pack ( sale.a.bration product), Rhinestones and the stamp sets used are Occasions Alphabet & Fresh Vintage ( sale.a.bration set).

 Here is a close up.
And here is the inside. Stamp sets used are You are Loved ( Summer Mini) and Number It.

That's it from me for now, hope you have a great week.

Mojo 126

Another challenge card, this one for Mojo Monday #126. This card came together quite quickly it helped that I had a great sketch. Using the Fifth Avenue Floral set I stamped the flower onto a page of an old book (it was falling apart anyway) then glued it onto scrap card and cut out. I love this style, my old book has 915 pagers so that should keep me going for ever. Also used my new Sale A Bration set Whimsical Words.

Gift Card Holder

Hi, remember the gift card holder's we made at the last Stamp A Stack, well Karen had a brilliant idea using the tab punch. I didn't get a photo of it on the day so today I made one to show you.
She punched part way so that the tab on the white card stock fits snugly into the punched out part. I hope that makes sense. But you can see from the photo's what I mean. Such a great idea.
Thanks Karen.

I'm off to make my March Calander page which I still haven't got to yet. Tonight for sure.
Enjoy your evening.

(gotta keep up our strength) We had three first timers to a Stamp A Stack join us yesterday, Julie, Lesley and Angie. I'm so glad you enjoyed the afternoon and I'm looking forward to seeing you again.
The winners of the door prize's were Marie, Angie and Lesley. Congratulations!
So these are the cards we made.

And a gift card holder.

Karen came up with a brilliant idea for the gift card holder, I didn't get a photo of it so I'll have to make one to show you. Sometime this week.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Little Square Box.

I love this little square box, it's so cute. I found it while blog surfing on the weekend at Becky Roberts site Inking Idaho. It was so quick and easy to make. You know I love quick and easy! And it can be embellished any way you want. I used the Sale-A-Bration set Botanical Blooms with Berry Bliss DSP.

I am trying out a new daytime photo spot. Our Kittens/cats, (they had their first birthday this month and are not little anymore) decided my photo spot was a great place to have a snooze and have put a big dint in the box and hair all over the white cloth. So these photo's where taken out on the veranda which it good usless there's a breeze.

Until next time...

K I S S

I decided to " Keep It Simple S..... " for Kristina"s Colour Inspiration #39. Partly because it's so hot I can't think and because these colours look stunning on the black card. Don't you think!

I've embossed the flower from the Polka Dot Punches Sale-A-Bration set twice on real red and once on green galore card with white embossing powder, then punching out with the 5 petal flower punch. Cutting off some green petals to use as leafs.

Quick, easy and simple.

I'm off to find a cool breeze.
Enjoy.

Colour Inspiration #38

I love the colours Kristina's picked for her Colour Inspiration #38. Ruby Red, Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie & Whisper White. I've used lot of my favorite things on this card. My new favorite colour, Pumpkin Pie. My favorite Sale-A-Bration set, Polka Dot Punches. My favorite wheel, Lots of Dots. My favorite DSP, Bali Breeze. My favorite punch, Scallop edge. And my favorite felt flowers, Flower Fusion.

The Lots of Dots Wheel is embossed in white and a circle punched out to make the flower center. I think it looks cute. Anyway here it is.

Enjoy!
