Every Moment.

I'm really pleased with how this card turned out. Sophie Zadeh from Stampin' Up! gave us an excellent water colouring class at the Regional training event. She showed us how to get depth and shadow when water colouring. And a few other tips and tricks. I've used the very lovely Every Moment stamp set that we received. Added a Scallop Trim Border, a satin bow and a bit of bling to finish it off. It did take quite a while to make but I think it was worth it.

Unscripted Sketches #74.

A sketch challenge from Unscripted Sketches, a great site I found through Gardenia at A Little Less Useless, who is on the design team. I went with a Christmas theme, I've been wanting to play with Dasher since I got him and hadn't had a chance, until now. Isn't he gorgeous! I have heat embossed him in gold and inked around all the edges. The lower panel is the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder that I ran through the Big Shot. The centre panel is the Jolly Holiday DSP.

Iv'e added a tiny bit of Champagne Shimmer paint, new in the Stampin' Up! catalogue, to the lower panel and 3 pearls. Hard to see in the photo's. This shimmer paint is so cool!

Sunday Scrap.

Happy Sunday Stampers, hope your all having a great weekend. This weeks page is of my very cute little man, Zach when he was 18months old. I have used the new colour Cherry Cobbler, it's a very deep red, I quite like it. Zach has a bit of red and an elephant on his outfit, the Cherry Cobbler coordinates well. There are even Cherry Cobbler brads now. I really enjoyed making this page. It came together well and I got to use my new Scallop Trim Border punch again.

Swaps.

Hi, I am currently at Brisbane Stampin' Up! Regional's. I really love attending Stampin' Up! events where I get to meet and catch up with other demonstrator friends, learn new techniques and have lots of fun. I also love to swap cards and ideas with other demonstrators. I made three different cards to swap all using the same technique, Shadow Dancing, but with different stamp sets.
Shadow Dancing is where you first stamp an image in Craft Whisper White ink, let dry, then using a stamp a ma jig stamp again but slightly over to one side, in the same colour ink as the card. It gives a really cool 3D effect.

On my Friends card I have used the Friends Never Fade stamp set in Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Whisper White. Adding a couple of black brads, black ribbon and Black scallop square punched out shapes. I have also ruffed up the Melon Mambo edges with the cutter kit. Hard to see in this photo but I have added a bit of dazzling diamonds to the centre of the flower.

On my Merry Christmas card I have used the Contempo Christmas stamp set in Real Red, Old Olive and Whisper White. Adding silver brads and Old Olive ribbon. The greeting is on a die shape from the Lots of Tags die then layered on a wide oval punched out shape. Again I have ruffed up the Real Red edges with the cutter kit.

My Party card is great for teenage boys. Using the Extreme Guitar and Extreme Elements stamp sets on Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Not Quite Navy and Whisper White card. The greeting and Party this way arrow are from the Party this Way stamp set.

I'll have lots of great swaps to show you next week.
