Giggle Greetings.

Morning, how cute is this puppy in the Giggle Greetings stamp set. :)
I am entering this card into the Sunny Challenges & Creations 084/14 Challenge which this fortnight is MALE and using the sketch from Mojo Monday 304.  Click on the links to check out the design team's creations and to enter yourself.

I heat embossed the cute puppy image with Early Espresso embossing powder onto water colour paper then water coloured with Crumb Cake, Burnt Brown Sugar and Real Red ink, added googlie eyes and cut out with the Circles Collection Framelits. DSP is Soho Subway. There is also a bit of spritzing on the background, a button, bakers twine and red candy dots.

Have a great day.

Hello, Lovely.

Hi, today's card I made for a special person that I have been friends with for a long time, I'm not going to give away my age here, lets just say we have been friends since grade 8.

This was a Printrest  inspired card made by Natasha Schweche, which links back to Stampin Connection.  I am so hooked on Printrest. I water coloured the beautiful flower from the hostess set Simply Sketched straight onto the doily  being careful not to use too much water so I didn't tear the doily. Greeting is from the Hello, Lovely set.

Party Bags.

Here are the Party bags I  made for my little mans party guests. Really cute and fun.
Here is a close up. I used the same stamp set that I used on the invitations, Sketched Birthday and the thank you tag is from the Hello, Lovely stamp set.
Have a great weekend.

Party Invitation.

My little man  turned 6 this week and of course we had to have a party with his little friends from school. This is the invitation I made using the Chalkboard technique that i love so much at the moment.
The first invitation I made using colours Coastal Cabana and Burnt Brown Sugar then my little man informed me that he wanted a Spider man cake so the colour theme of the party had to quickly change to Real Red. I'm really happy how these turned out and when a 6 year old party guest told me that he really liked my invitation, I felt really flattered. After all it's really hard to impress a 6 year old.
Stamps used are Sketched Birthday and Gorgeous Grunge. Other products used Chevron Embossing Folder, Apothecary Accents Frame Lits dies, White embossing powder and Bakers Twine.

Check back soon to see the Party Bags I made, the kids and Mums loved them.

Playing with Leftovers.

Morning, today I have a very cute card to show you. Recently when Julie and I got together to have a play day, yes grown ups can have play days too, she whipped up this cute card using bits and pieces from my leftover draw.
Starting with the Pop 'n Cuts Card Base die as the base she added butterfly's, shimmer card, rhinestones, ribbon and a birthday greeting from the new Sketched Birthday stamp set. DSP is Gingham Garden and the window sheet is from the Quaterfancy Specialty pack. Love it so much, thanks Julie you always inspire me.

Mosaic Madness.

I really like the Mosaic Madness stamp set and I really, really like that there is a coordinating punch and embossing folder. We had fun playing around with these at the Launch Party.
New colours used are Burnt Brown Sugar and Crisp Cantaloupe.
There were  some very creative and interesting cards made using these two cards as inspiration.

Launch Party Fun.

We had so much fun at the Launch Party yesterday. Such a great group of ladies. Here is a little sample of what we did. Door prizes made from the Card Base Pop 'n Cuts die with the Soho Subway DSP. Julie and I had a play with this new die a few days ago and discovered it makes a really cute  and easy gift bag. We had a great time playing that day, thanks Julie.
Congratulations to Kathy and Freda who won the Door Prizes.
The goodie bags that everyone received, filled with some new product to take home to play with. These bags where made from the packaging paper scrunched up in the Stampin' Up! order box.  Stamped in the new In Colours 2013-2015 with the Morning Meadow Hostess Set and the Label Love set.
Embellished with a Tea Lace Paper Dollie, Hung Up Cute clips and a punched out butterfly. Don't you just love those cute paper clips!
Next post I will show you the cards we made using some of the new stamp sets.

Thank you to everyone who came along and everyone who brought something  yummy for  afternoon tea. It wouldn't have been the same without you.
