Hello.

Good morning, my little man has been sick this week so we have been a bit house bound which meant I've had a bit more time for stamping. I made a gorgeous scrap page based on the JAI sketch but you have to wait until Sunday to see it.

So today I have a card to show you. Using the Pendant Park stamp set in the Autumn-Winter mini with the alphabet dies and the really cute buttons die. I have used the masking technique with the tree and the bench. Not sure who will be getting this card yet.

Recipe
Stamp Set: Pendant Park
Card: soft Suede, More Mustard, Whisper White
Ink : Old Olive, Soft Suede
Tools: Big Shot-Timeless Type Alpha Jnr dies, Buttons #5 die
Accessories: Soft Suede ribbon, hemp twine

Have a great day.

Just Add Ink #27

I needed a card for my nephews birthday and the sketch challenge at Just Add Ink this week fitted well. Using the Lots of Bots stamp set and adding supernova glitter with crystal effects to the number makes this a not too cute card for an 8 year old. I think this sketch will work well as a scrap page too. You can check out the great projects by the Design Team here and the other entries.

Recipe
Stamp Set: Lots of Bots
Card: Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White
Ink: StazOn black, Pacific Point, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Basic Gray
Punches: scallop square, 11/4" square, 1/2" circle
Tools: Big Shot-Timeless Type Alpha Junior die
Accessories: jumbo grommet, crystal effects, fine supernova glitter, stripped grosgrain ribbon, blender pen

Mr & Mrs.

Hi, another weekend over. For me it was a busy one with a Wedding, a big family bbq and relies staying with us. Lots of fun but I did need to have a rest day today.
.
Here is the Wedding card I made, using the Together Forever stamp set with the coordinating wheel Forever Flowers. My inspiration for this card came from the Wedding invitation which is a similar shape to the top note die.

The inside.

Recipe
Stamp Sets: Together Forever, Forever Flowers wheel
Card: Choc Chip, Kraft, Naturals Ivory
Ink: Choc chip
Tools: Big Shot-top note die, wheel guide, dauber, stamp a ma jig, blender pen
.
I tried really hard to fit some ribbon on there, I love ribbon, but it just didn't need it.

Sunday scrap.

Hi, hope your all having a great Sunday. This weeks Sunday Scrap page is of Jamie at his 3rd birthday. Doesn't he look just like Zach, I should say Zach looks just like Jamie. On this page I have used the star punches and different brads & buttons to make embellishments. Notice the cute monkey hanging upside down. And again I have used the Timeless Type Jnr alphabet dies with the Big Shot for the title. I'm really getting my money's worth with these dies.

Recipe
Stamp Set: Fox & friends
Card: Kraft, Pacific Point, Riding Hood red
DSP: Good Morning sunshine
Ink: Soft Suede
Punches: star, large star
Tools: Big Shot- Timeless Type Jnr Alphabet dies, mat pack & tool
Accessories: Riding Hood Red ribbon, brads & button
Have a stampin' good Sunday.

Friends 24-7.

Hi, isn't this week going fast! It's Zach's 3rd birthday today and I didn't get to make his card yet. I'm going to have a fun craft day with friends tomorrow so I'm hoping to get it made then, if I don't chat too much. I also need a Wedding card for Saturday so I better get my act into gear.
.
I'm so excited, my 55 Chev card made it to the Top Pick over at Just Add ink. Thanks so much for all your fabulous comments. They are much appreciated.
.
Ok today I have a card I made a little while ago using the Friends 24-7 stamp set. Don't we all love this set! The main image has been stamped twice and looks a bit fuzzy in the photo so don't think you need to get your eye sight checked. The background was wheeled with the Friendly Words wheel. I also wheeled the die cut blooms and scrunched then up a bit. I really like how this card looks.

Recipe
Stamp Sets: Friends 24-7, Friendly Words wheel
Card: Choc chip, Kraft, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette
Ink: Choc chip, Close to Cocoa, Pink Pirouette
Punches: 1" circle
Tools: mat pack & tool, stamp a ma jig, wheel guide
Accessories: Die Cut Blooms Again, Pink pirouette ribbon, dauber

Have a Fabulous Friday.

55 Chev.

Hi, this is a card I made for my brother for his birthday. He loves old cars and has spent many years building his pink 55 Chev. The base of the car is made with the Top Note die and clear embossed, adding a bit of dazzling diamonds while still hot. To give it a metallic look, just like my brothers car.
Challenge #26 this week at Just Add Ink is Just Add Embossing, so this card fits in well for the challenge.

The photo's not great but you can kind of get the idea.

This card was inspired by a swap I received at Convention by Kaylene Schultz. Unfortunately I have been unable to find a blog or web site for her.
.
Recipe
Stamp Set: Simple Serif Alpha & Numbers
Card: Tempting Turquoise, Green Galore, Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Brushed Metallic Silver, Whisper White
DSP: Urban Oasis
Ink: VersaMark, Stazon Black
Punches: 1/2", 3/4", 1" circles, corner rounder, word window, designer label, horizontal slot
Tools: Big Shot-top note die, heat tool
Accessories: clear embossing powder, dimensionals, 2 way glue pen
.
Have a great weekend.

Time for Tea - Masking.

Hi, I spent a lovely couple of hours with my Aunty M from Darwin and my Mum yesterday. Aunty M showed me a special album she made for her Son In-law's 30th birthday, his first 30 years. She did an amazing job. So proud of her, it was a huge project. And a Grandparent book for her eldest grandson, that is fabulous. I'm already looking forward to her next trip down to spend more time with her and Uncle G.

I do have a card to show you. A sweet card showing the Masking technique. Using the Share a Cup stamp in the Autumn-Winter Mini. This stamp is so cute, and it comes singular. Does that make sense? It does not come in a set, it's a single stamp with the tea cup and the "Hello" greeting. So here it is.

Recipe
Stamps: Share a Cup, Polka Dots-background stamp
Card: Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White
Markers: Pretty in Pink, Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, So Saffron, Old Olive
Punches: scallop edge, trio flower
Accessories: silver brad, white ribbon

Have a great day.

Hello

Hello, the kids are back to school today, no more sleeping in. I love sleeping in on the holidays, that's what holidays are for right! So today I have to show you a simple but sweet "Hello" card. I made the umbrella with the 1 3/4" circle punch and the slit punch with rub-on's applied to jazz it up a bit. The "hello" is also a rub-on from my stash of retired SU products. DSP is Hand Drawn a level 3 hostess bundle. With Riding Hood Red ribbon and a cute button to finish it off.

It's going to be quite around here today.

Sunday Scrap.

Hi and welcome to Sunday Scrap, this weeks page is of Alex when he first started walking. He was so cute then. I've used a sketch from Paper Craft Planet, I've found I scrap much faster when I'm working from a sketch. So I can get more pages done, I've got a lot to do. :)

Here is a close up of the title, I embossed the letters with the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. It turned out pretty good.

Recipe
Stamp Set: Fox & Friends
Markers: Choc Chip, Summer Sun
Card: Kraft, Choc chip, Summer sun, Whisper White
DSP: Good Morning Sunshine
Punches: 1 3/8" circle
Tools: Big Shot-Timeless Type Jr Alphabet, Top Note die, Circles #2 die, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder
Accessories: mat pack & tool
I discovered another reason why I'm such a slow scrapper, I spend too much time looking at the photo's, remembering. I just can't help myself.
Hope your having a great weekend.

Sunday Scrap.

Good morning this weeks Sunday Scrap page is of Zach with his Pop. Again I've kept this page quite simple letting the photo's be the main focal point. The colours were quite hard for me to work with but the photo is a good one and deserved to be scraped. Pop is one of those people that it's hard to get a good photo of.

Recipe
Stamp Set: Circle Circus
Ink: Brilliant Blue, Green Galore,
Marker: Brilliant Blue
Card: Textured White, whisper White, Brilliant Blue, Green Galore
Punches: 1 3/8", 1 1/4" circles, Heart to Heart
Tools: Big Shot-Timeless Alphabet Junior dies, 4 pack dies
Accessories: black brads, 2 way glue pen

A Card for Jamie.

The first week of school holidays are over, we've been having lots of fun. A couple of highlights are a day at the Workshops Railway Museum at Ipswich. Zach was overwhelmed at seeing so many trains. He loves trains. Jamie's 9th Birthday, my Hubby James birthday and a new baby nephew all on the same day. We think the new baby should be named James too. :) A birthday dinner at Sizzler, Jamie's pick, he loves their chocolate moose. The movies to see Eclipse, loved it. And early this morning a trip to the airport, Alex is going on a school Ski trip to New Zealand. I'm so excited for him. His first trip away without Mum & Dad. He will have an awesome time, wish I could go.
.
So the card I have to show you today is the birthday card I made for Jamie. As you probably know Jamie passed his Black Belt grading last weekend so the All in the Family and Family Accessories Too stamps sets were perfect for his card.

Recipe
Stamp Sets: A Little Birthday Cheer, All in the Family, Family accessories Too.
Ink: VersaMark, Stazon Black
Markers: Summer Sun, Brilliant Blue, Real Red
Card: Real Red, Summer Sun, Basic Black, Whisper White
Punches: Large Star, 1" Circle, Spiral
Tools: Stamp a ma jig, heat tool
Accessories: black embossing powder, buddy

Have a fabulous day.
