So Cute.

Our new kittens are so cute and playful and naughty, so when i needed a photo for a recent scrap workshop i couldn't resist using this one. It was amazing that they stayed still long enough for me to take the photo. The black one is named Patches and the grey one is Kibble. I thought the Polka Dots & Paisley stamp set worked well, with one of the stamps saying " find joy in the little things" Even though i used the photo of the kittens this layout could be used for male or female, young or old, even beloved pets. The lovely ladies at the workshop had fun making it.
(Did you know that when you take a photo of an animal their eyes turn blue instead of red like people. Well for cats and dogs anyway. Strange but true.)

Blog Hopper...

If you're a Blog Hopper, like me, you have probably read a lot about the recent Stampin'Up! convention. Well, everything they say is true. It was such a great experience and really fun. Way more fun than changing nappies. I can't wait to go to Canberra next year and met up with my new friends from all over Australia. I to made 50 cards to swap, and i think mine was pretty good. What do you think? I received back some really great cards. 50 in fact. This was my first ever swap and i love the whole idea of swapping cards.

So this is what i used to make my swap.
Polka Dots & Paisley stamp set
Petals Stampin" Around Jumbo Wheel
card - basic black, whisper white, rose red and going grey
ink pads - going grey and rose red
punches - large oval, 3.5cm circle, 3.2cm circle and slit
ribbon - gingham black
and don't forget the Stampin' Dimensionals and Snail Adhesive

First Post

Hi, this is my first post, i hope i do it right. I'm so excited about having a blog. I can now share what i love to do, which is stamping. I love everything about stamping and Stampin' Up! What an amazing Company!

The first card I'm going to share with you is using my new sets from the new 2008-2009 Idea Book and Catalogue.

I have used the new In Colours Groovy Guava, Blue Bayou and Whisper White. The Jumbo Wheel So Swirly, the cute ladybug from the Garden Whimsy stamp set and the words are from the Sincere Salutations set. I have used circle punches 3.5cm & 3.2cm and my new favorite the scallop circle punch to highlight the ladybug. To finish off a bit of ribbon double stitched Groovy Guava.

Hope you like it. Bye for now.
