Hi, I hope your all having a great Mother's Day and being spoilt by your family. I'm so happy that my Mum is back from her trip so I can spend time with her today.
Zach made this card for me at playgroup this week. So Sweet!
One of the Mum's at playgroup wrote a special poem for us that I'd like to share with you, I think it's very good and it brought more than one tear to my eye. I think all mum's no matter how old your children are will be able to relate to this.
Playgroup Mum's.
Every Wednesday morning, we meet at ........... Church Hall,
We share a cuppa and conversation and the kids all have a ball.
On one day or another, each of us has had to bear,
A cranky toddler tantrum as the other kids all stare.
.
There's many little antics to keep us on our toes,
From stolen snacks, bikes off the tracks and a dripping boogie nose.
And some of us get nervous, when the craft mum chooses paint
Can those wet painted fingers possibly show restraint?
.
But through it all the kids have fun & learn a lot as well
And after all that's why we come, or is it, it's hard to tell?
Many times I wonder who enjoys playgroup more.
Is it really just our little ones the benefit is for?
.
I really think that us mums love it just as much,
Some really lovely ladies, it's great to keep in touch.
And when you have a problem and you don't know what to do
There's always someone else who's had that problem too.
.
We are all so very different, in the things we do and say
From how we make a sandwich, to how we teach our kids to play.
But we have a mutual understanding of what it's like to be a mum,
And we can appreciate each other on a hard job well done.
.
Have a fantastic Mothers Day.
